Website Development

The Approach
I have a content and mobile-first approach to building custom websites. My work has mainly been with WordPress custom themes and marketing campaign landing pages. I consider my approach holistic. My goal is always to create a site that will help you achieve your goals while giving you a technically sound and secure website.

New Creations or Fix-it Up Services
Together, I will take your vision and discover your website's purpose, pinpoint your needs, and how best to achieve this with your budget.

Not only do I build custom WordPress websites from scratch, but I can also add new functionality such as e-commerce, fix a slow website, make your website mobile-friendly, or give it a refreshing spruce up.

Roadmap Sessions (It's Like an Audit but Better)
Most freelancers offer a free consultation call where they will hint at the things they can do for you. I'd rather give you maximum value now with a Roadmap Session.

Roadmap Sessions include an audit but it's an hour call where we create a game plan on how to reach your goals and address the audit. I'll fill you in on the technical know-how, secret hacks, and answer all your questions.

My roadmap sessions are to find the meaningful opportunities of improvement with measurable metrics such as lowering bounce rates, lengthening visitor's time on your site, increased conversions, faster load times, improved Google ranking, and safer, secure website. My goal is to empower you with an audit but with an understanding of what it means.

Monthly & Bi-Monthly Maintenance
Not keeping your WordPress website up-to-date can leave your website vulnerable to hackers, malicious code, and even stolen information. I have seen websites destroyed or hijacked to run constant dubious credit card information.

However, updating your website can be risky. Sometimes there are unforeseeable code conflicts arise between plugins, themes, and WordPress. Without proper backup or know-how, your website may be worse off than before updating.

Let me update your WordPress site safely with my backup and quick-error response method. With the maintenance plan, I will keep an eye on your site's on-page and technical SEO and keep it safely backed-up.

Why Hire Me?
I have worked in the advertising industry, leading web projects from start to finish. Graduating with a Bachelor's in Website Development, I've been building websites for a wide variety of clients ever since. I have worked with mom and pop shops, blogs, and big-name brands such as Margaritaville Family Resorts and Paul Piazza Shrimp.

Some Past Work

Paul Piazza & Sons website home page on a computer monitor

Paul Piazza & Sons

The leading processors in sustainable American Gulf Coast Shrimp for over 125 years, Paul Piazza & Sons were looking to refresh their brand and online presence. I worked closely with the entire creative team from beginning to end on this project.

The website is a fully custom WordPress theme with their own personalized interactive SVG map plugin and recipe custom post type. Every page features smooth animations and fresh, engaging information.

Bookshelf to Couch website home page on a computer monitor

Bookshelf to Couch

Bookshelf to Couch offers further education on topics of relationships to therapists, clinicians and psychologists. They needed to invite visitors to their email list, provide information with an active blog, and house their courses for users.

My role in the project was to code a custom WordPress theme, build an interactive Green Sock animated balloon on the home page, and create all the Zapier 'zaps' to collect key data of how members and visitors use their website.

You can see the project on Behance and experience the site for yourself.
